Happy Trails Giants actually got it's beginning many years ago when I was part of Ruster Giant Schnauzers. The foundation for Happy Trails was set when I was blessed to return to the breed with some of my original bloodlines from Ruster. I have been in the Giant breed since 1985 with the foundation of Dusty (Ch. Skansen's Fantastique) the Top Producer of All Time for the breed and the Working Group with 32 Champions. From 1985 to 2004, I was the breeder/owner/handler of 100+ Champions. Breeder/owner of 2 of the # 1 Giant Schnauzers from 1995-1997 and 1999-2003, Top 20 Winner BIS/BISS/Am/Can/Intl Ch. Ruster's Your Cheatin' Heart AX OAJ TT CGC TDI, Hank and BIS/BISS/Am/Can Ch. Ruster's The Dark Command, Koal, 3 Consecutive National Specialty Winner. The 2nd Top Producing Dam, Mary, Ch. Ruster's It's A Wonderful Life (daughter of Dusty)had 28 Champions to her credit! Now with the new beginnings of Happy Trails Giants, there is a new focus. To breed and exhibit the very best Giants that I possibly can. And putting soundness, health and temperament first and foremost. My first venture back into the show ring brought me Grand Champion Fanta C Re-Ride V Happy Trails, Maggie. Next there was Ch. Fanta C Cowboys Back In Town At Happy Trails, Trigger. Then Ch. Gespents Fuga from Mexico. And Cheyenne, Ch. Fanta C Ride The Wild Wind At Happy Trails!!! Maggie, Cheyenne and Fuga have produced some outstanding offspring with great temperaments and loving personalities....and beautiful confirmation. And I thank some special people greatly for allowing me to be able to get offspring of some of my Ruster breeding back!
